Example: IUS CentOS/RHEL 6

wget https://rhel6.iuscommunity.org/ius-release.rpm
rpm -Uvh ius-release.rpm

OR (without wget first)

rpm -Uvh https://rhel6.iuscommunity.org/ius-release.rpm

We now want to confirm the repo has been added and been enabled:

# yum repolist | grep IUS
ius                 IUS Community Packages for Enterprise Linux 6 - x86_6    297

Note: yum repolist only shows enabled repos, to view all repos: yum repolist all
